As a basketball junkie and two time reigning office bracket champion I like to think of myself as a pretty solid prediction machine when it comes to march madness...that being said I don't see a lot of upsets this year, anyone else in the same boat?
I really may not pick a 12/5 upset this year for the first time in quite sometime. I really wanted to pick SFA to beat someone but I think Utah is actually the strongest 5 seed out there and a bad matchup for SFA.
Buffalo beat no one of any value all year and WVU is just going to shove them around, if the refs are really ticky tacky it could keep Buffalo into it but I still think this one won't be close.
Wyoming sort of intrigues me but at the same time they wouldn't have even made the tourney had it not been for them winning their conference championship. UNI shoots the ball really well though and Wyoming's strength isn't necessarily their d.
Wofford's best win was against NC State who is alright I guess. The intriguing thing about Wofford is that their strength is taking care of the ball and they're going against Arkansas who likes to cause havoc, so could be an interesting matchup if Wofford can force their style onto the game.
I guess if I had to pick likelihood of 12/5 upsets it'd go 1) Wofford 2) SF 3) Wyoming 4) Buffalo
I do think UT takes down Butler though and both the 11 seed play ins take down their respective 6 seeds though, so I guess there's that.
