Anyone on here recall KSUs 1964 FF tourn appearance?

Or any of the others that preceded it? I didn't start following the Cats until 1965 so I dont. I'm curious what the excitement level was like surrounding being in the tourney. How big a deal was it then? There wasn't 24/7 sports shows or the internet.
