of both the Big 12 XII expansion and the ACC TV deal the two conferences last ditch effort to shore up their conference "forever"? Big XII's first call HAS to be to existing ACC schools that showed interest or perceived to show interest in the past (FSU, Clemson, Pitt, and Louisville), until the TV deal & GOR is signed, they are still the weakest conference outside of the Big XII. If we strike out, it's probably the beginning of the end. At that point, there is nothing that brings anything redeemable to the conference unless somehow you can get Nubbs, CU, or MU to come back which I don't think anyone sees happening: LSU, Ark, AZ, ASU, etc., are not coming.
All said and done, we end up with Cinci and Memphis as the first 2 and I think in a couple years we end up adding 2 more.
