We may have no interest in Malbrough. At one point we thought he was worthy of an offer and talked about setting up a visit, but then we seemingly dropped contact with him and then he suffered a pretty bad knee injury. KU maintained contact with him and got a commit on Christmas eve. Their offer is a blueshirt, meaning that they want to put him on scholarship for the fall but not until after school (or practice?) starts. It's a way for them to get him in the fall but count him against next year's class (2019). It means that he will not sign a letter of intent and will remain recruitable to other schools until he enrolls at KU.
