I still have the game on my DVR and it looks like Barnes was upright and fell across the first down line with the top half of his torso clearly across the line. The announcers were preoccupied with something else, did not even notice the mark or comment on it and there were no replays shown. Not a peep from our sideline. This definitely should have been reviewed. A failed QB sneak on a 3d and 1 with no one pushing the QB followed and then the gutless 4th and 1 punt. This is just another case of our coaches having their heads up their a$$es. We have the talent to do better, our coaches just seem to be rendered unconscious at the most inopportune times. The trouble with getting plays in on a timely basis with the subsequent penalties and time outs cost us the West Virginia game. Bill said afterwards that he would fix that type of situation and someone did, because that basically has not been a problem since. BUT WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE RECOGNIZE THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT BEFORE THE WV GAME???? Some of these coaches are just cashing checks and that is Bill's fault for not making them as accountable as he claims to hold the players to be. Bill can blame some of the players' problems on inexperience. I am afraid that some of our coaches problems are due to too much experience.
