We have played 3 exhibition games and IMO we are still searching for an answer at the 5. I thought it would be a worthwhile exercise to compile their stats and then look at them on a per 40 minute basis. They all seem to have a different combo of strengths and weaknesses that make this an interesting battle.
Stats per 40 Minutes
Mawien: FG%: 40.0% / FT%: 83.3% / RB: 6.4 / PF: 8.2 / TP: 11.8 / A: 0.9 / TO: 3.6 / Bk: 0.0 / S: 0.0
Sallah: FG%: 37.5% / FT%: 33.3% / RB: 7.8 / PF: 7.8 / TP: 7.8 / A: 1.0 / TO: 0.0 / Bk: 1.0 / S: 1.0
Stockard: FG%: 75.0% / FT%: 37.5% / RB: 3.2 / PF: 6.4 / TP: 14.4 / A: 0.0 / TO: 4.8 / Bk: 0.0 / S: 1.6
Shadd: FG%: 50.0% / FT%: 33.3%/ RB: 11.3 / PF: 5.0 / TP: 12.5 / A: 0.0 / TO: 5.0 / Bk: 2.5 / S: 0.0
Thoughts
Mawien: By far the best FT shooter out of the group. The other 3 have been terrible. Not really separating in any one area, but can hang in there with the others in all of them.
Sallah: Sub 40% in FG% and FT%. His offensive game leaves plenty to be desired. Rebounds pretty well and does not have any turnovers thus far.
Stockard: Best scorer out of the group. 75% FG% and 14.4 points per 40 minutes. The issues are that he does not rebound effectively and turns the ball over too much.
Shadd: Might be the best all around player for the spot. Rebounds well, blocks shots, and is decent on the offensive end (outside of FTs). The main issue is that he is turning the ball over too much.
