At least that's the conclusion I came to after my interaction with the ticket office today. I found my season ticket renewal in some papers over the weekend. It came probably a month ago, but I didn't see it. Didn't seem like a big deal because my seats are about 3 rows from the top of Bramlage. Usually, most the seats around us are empty.
So I called today with my credit card ready to give them $700+. I was told that I missed the deadline and I would have to wait until the seat upgrade process was over, and then if my seats were still available, then I could purchase them. I said you've got to be kidding. Nobody wants my seats. After I was told again that I would have to wait until the end of August I politely informed her that I would not be purchasing the tickets.
I've cooled off now and thought this through. I've come to the conclusion that the BB tickets are sold out and they figure they can get the price of the tickets and a donation from someone else.
