It appears to me the Big 12 has opened up a big old "can of worms" with the actions regarding how they handled the KSU Band. I will be following closely their actions regarding the OU players lack of class and disrespect following their victory against the Vols. I would think they would be more upset by players taunting, flipping off the crowd and stomping on the insignia in the middle of the field than by a band formation in the shape of a rival's mascot. I was sure happy OU won but didn't appreciate their actions after the game.The larger issue will be trying to be fair in policing sportsmanship at all institutions.
