Since the board is pretty dead this Monday morning, I thought I would update the Big 12 teams as they stand now roster wise and where I would rank them in the preseason:

1. Texas

Projected starters:

G Marcus Carr (19 points, 4 rebs, 5 as)
G Courtney Ramey (12 points, 3 rebs, 4 as)
G Andrew Jones (15 pts, 5 rebs)
F Timmy Allen (17 pts, 6 rebs, 4 as)
C Tre Mitchell (19 pts 7 rebs)

Projected Bench:
Dylan Disu, Jaylon Tyson, Devin Askew, Christian Bishop, Jase Febres, Brock Cunningham

Outlook:

New HC Chris Beard is so deep that All SEC member Dylan Disu, 5 star PG Transfer Devin Askew, and Christian Bishop (who was top 15 in the Big East in 17 different categories last year) are all bench players. All 5 projected starters (and Disu) were All Conference in 2020-21

#2. Kansas

Projected Starters:

G Remy Martin (19 pts, 3 rebs, 4 ast)
G Christian Braun (10 pts, 5 rebs, 2 ast)
W Ochai Agbaji (14 pts, 4 reb, 2 ast)
F Jalen Wilson (12 pts, 8 rebs
C David McCormack (13 pts, 6 rebs)

Projected Bench:
Cam Martin, Mitch Lightfoot, Joseph Yesufu, Jalen Coleman Lands, Zach Clemence, KJ Adams, Dajuan Harris, Bobby Pettiford, Kyle Cuffe Jr

Outlook:
Self's deepest team in years will feature 8 guys that were all double digit scorers last year and a bevy of highly rated freshman that will look to push their way into the rotation. I would not be surprised to see Jalen Coleman Lands (who needs a waiver to be eligible) push his way into the starting lineup because of his ability to shoot.

#3. Baylor

Projected Starters:

G James Akinjo (16 pts, 5 assists)
G LJ Cryer (3 pts 1 assist)
G Adam Flagler (9 points 2 rebs
W Matthew Mayer (8 points 4 rebs)
C John Tchamwa Tchatchoua (6 points, 5 rebs)

Projected Bench:
Kendall Brown, Jeremy Sochan, Dain Dainja, Flo Thamba, Jordan Turner, Langston Love, Zach Loveday

Outlook:

Defending National Champs have a ton to replace as their 4 best players all moved on, but Matthew Mayer is poised to be a star and Baylor is loaded with guys that can shoot and defend. All Pac 12 1st team James Akinjo has been cleared by the NCAA to join and will provide an immediate scoring threat.

#4. Oklahoma State:

Projected Starters:

G Isaac Likelele (9 pts, 7 rebs, 4 asst)
G Avery Anderson (12 pts, 3 rebs, 2 asst)
G Rondell Walker (8 pts, 3 rebs)
F Matt Alexander-Moncrieffe (9 pts, 5 rebs)
C Moussa Cisse (7 pts, 6 rebs 2 blocks)

Projected Bench:
Kalib Boone, Keylan Boone, Bernard Kouma, Montreal Pena, Donovan Williams, Chris Harris JR, Woody Newton, Bryce Thompson, Tyreen Smith, Bryce Williams

Projected Outlook:

How do the minutes get distributed? Boyton is going to have his hands full managing this roster. OSU currently has 15 players and no Senior/Super Seniors. The rules don't really allow for that. Chris Harris was pushing to be a starter last year before being injured. Bryce Thompson is the 5 star transfer that simply fits better at OSU than KU. They are deep and they are long and athletic. I moved returning starter Kalib Boone out and transfer Moussa Cisse in simply because of his rebounding and defense wich is something OSU drastically needed.

5. Texas Tech

Projected Starters:

G Mylik Wilson (13 pts, 6 rebs, 3 assists)
W TJ Shannon (13 pts, 4 rebs)
W Kevin McCullar (11 pts, 6 rebs, 2 assists)
F Kevin Obanor (19 pts, 10 rebs)
C Bryson Williams (15 pts, 7 rebs)

Projected Bench:

Davion Warren, Adonis Arms, Marcos Santos Silva, Mylik Wilson, Daniel Batcho, Chibuzo Agbo, Ethan Duncan, Clarence Nadolny

Projected Outlook:

It's possible that I have this team too low. They are so talented that last year's preseason pick for Newcomer of the Year, Santos Silva is now a bench player. The Obanor transfer and the Shannon return are absolutely huge. Obanor is Nijel Pack in a 6'9 body. He shoots 47% from 3 and 88% from the free throw line. I have gone back and forth on whether I thin Wilson or Calhoun will start. I went with Wilson because he is more of a PG than Calhoun but so much of their offense starts with McCullar as the lead guard. Chibuzo Agbo is a future NBA guy in the mold of TJ Shannon that got pushed back to the bench with Shannon's return.
