Reading some of the articles on the pay-out this year for the 5 Conferences in the CFP and this is what it looks like for the Big 12.
Base pay-out for CFP is approx. $51 million per conference.
A team in the CFP semi's is $6 million
Sugar Bowl pay-out is a whopping $40 million per team!
That adds up to $97 million as the share for the Big 12 Conference! If one of the teams makes a NY6 Bowl that adds $4 million. And there is still the pay-outs for the other bowls.
Last year the Big 12 Conference share was $58 million.
I think we are going to like being a part of the Sugar Bowl!
