Most teams have their final patsy non-con game as a tune up before conference play starts this weekend.

It started last night with Baylor (-38) scoring 104 and not covering against Northwestern State 68. Guards James Akinjo and Adam Flagler combined for 48 points and 20 assists.

Dylan Disu is finally back healthy and his minutes are ramping up for Texas. He reached 20 minutes for the first time last night in their 78-33 win over Incarnate word. He finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks off the bench. One thing to note is that Texas is bucking the trend of playing small for large portions of the games. They are doing the opposite and playing three bigs for most of the game with the rotation of Mitchell, Allen, Bishop, Disu and Cunningham.

Texas Tech beat Alabama State 75-53 without Terrence Shannon.

With the other two games canceled, KU hosts Nevada tonight in the final Big 12 game before conference play starts Saturday.

On Saturday:

K-State travels to Norman for a night game at 7:00 local.

West Virginia travels to Texas at 11:00 for "basketball and brunch" as it's being marketed. Mimosas are available.

#1 Baylor travels to #8 Iowa State at 1:00 in the matchup of the day.
