Don't get me wrong, I was all for hiring Brad when the job was open, and I would be happy if we hired him tomorrow, but he doesn't get a sniff for the Wichita State, Tennessee job, or any job above the level of Bradley (I realize that job is filled). Outside of this board and the supporters at SFAU, no one knows who he is. This isn't a statement about his ability, he can coach, but Wichita State has recent deep tournament runs, including a Final 4 and several weeks in the top 5 of the polls, they have their sights set much higher than Brad Underwood. They either hire a successful, established, mid-major head coach, a BCS level school's head coach who is looking for less pressure (Dana Altman to Creighton type move), or a top assistant from a MAJOR program. Once again, I would hire him tomorrow, but the programs that everyone are talking about don't have him on the radar.
