-What's your overall opinion? I like them. I think they are an NCAA caliber team. SOS will hurt if push comes to shove, but they will have no bad losses...which is great to be able to say.
-DJ is a monster, but challenge is to stay out of foul trouble. Smoke and mirrors behind him, especially if suspension continues.
-I really like frosh....Sneed and Patrick. Obviously, Sneed's a stud. But, I like Patrick too. Smooth stoke.
-Wade has to play better. Dean has to "go killer" on people. But, he rebounds and passes well even when soft. But, this team can play around DJ.....and can play around DJ with some pretty good PG play as Stokes is coming along. But, no backup PG is worrisome.
-Petro: Yes, Wade is 6-10 but he's really 6-7 with an ungodly neck. Doug: Yes, great point. I've said this about other players. You don't get the benefit of a 6-10 guy with long arms, etc.
-Can they go 10-8 in league? Yes. Decent start to schedule with OU and TX at home. And, I'd rather play at KU when maybe some of students are gone.
-It may be easy to make fun of K-State's schedule, but, if you just watch them, they are good. Good players and playing with confidence. If K-State can use the confidence they have built and transfer to Big 12 play, then the schedule will have worked.
