Here's the story of last night's commitment from Brock Monty. He's been high on K-State for a long time but this is still a win for K-State in the walk-on department considering how athletic he is. I haven't seen a lot of him defensively, but just going on what I have, he's a bigger Marcus Watts (another walk-on QB turned DB). Not sure he has the same aggressive nature that Watts did as a hitter, but athletically they're comparable.
Only other note I'll include here from my conversation with Monty last night is the fact that he said K-State is likely to use 4 to 5 preferred walk-on spots, so look for the Wildcats to add a few more. Pretty good year in Kansas too as far as under the radar guys go.
