He shouldn't win.. and probably shouldn't be top 3.... but he deserves to be top 10 in MVP voting and probably top 5
Dude is 6th overall in AL WAR. he's 23rd in offensive value (incredible for a CF) and 3rd in defensive value.. I think you would like to see just a bit more pop for such a freak athlete... but beyond that, there is nothing in his stats that screams "lucky"... Trout donaldson and miggy are all in front of him... i think he's next in line

Alceides has dropped his offensive value into the negative numbers... why does he bat 1st again? The last time i did a royals thread, i suggested Guthrie will be why the royals miss the playoffs (and as the rotation falls apart, i think it's painfully obvious)... however, #2 on the list is hitting escobar 1... remember when esky and omar hit 1 and 2 2 years ago? ouch...
