Recently, there's been a lot of traction on Twitter behind a 2017 player by the name of Hanif Muhammad.
Back on September 7, Muhammad tweeted out that he'd received a K-State offer.
Now today, he's tweeting that K-State sits atop his Top 5 list.
So before this goes any further, let's set the record straight:
I was told by a very reliable source that K-State has never heard of Hanif Muhammad and they have not offered. No staff member follows him (which, come to think, the same can be said of his supposed #2 Nebraska as well) and there's seemingly zero interest there.
Not sure how or why this happens but it does. It could be miscommunication or it could be the kid just trying to build his name by saying he has offers he doesn't- again, I don't know. All I know is that unless something changes, this is not a recruit to keep on your radar for 2017.
