President Trump never properly separated himself from his businesses, giving anyone with enough money an opportunity to influence the USA government. They're Trump's people, the people who simultaneously enrich him personally and are his peers in wealth and golf, and he can see it when he looks around him on the golf course or in the clubhouse or on the member rolls. Initiation fees top $100,000 and that's not including other annual fees that mean only the most wealthy can belong. Although it is not illegal for the executives and lobbyists to pay membership fees and dues for a country club, the USA Today report does suggest that Trump and business and government insiders could be blurring ethical lines. The newspaper then reviewed the names to see if any had business in front of the U.S. government. Other members of his clubs include a lobbyist for the South Korean government; a lawyer representing Saudi Arabia as it tries to fend off claims related to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks; and a representative of a pesticide trade group that was able to lobby the Trump-era Environmental Protection Agency to keep a potentially unsafe insecticide on the market. Members of the clubs Trump has visited most often as president - in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia - include at least 50 executives whose companies hold federal contracts and 21 lobbyists and trade group, officials.. "For the first time in US history, wealthy people with interests before the government have a chance for close and confidential access to the president as a result of payments that enrich him personally", USA Today writes. The story amazed many in the media. As USA Today notes, Trump's golf courses may be his most profitable business, raking in roughly $600 million per year. Democrats have claimed Trump's business empire has created conflicts of interest that violate the emoluments clause of the Constitution. And that's just how journalists do their work now in order to track down the potential corruption of this president. Withluck, the Trump regime won't last much longer any . Unlike the Obama administration, the Trump White House does not disclose the president's golf partners, or whether he played.
