I saw all these postings for vacation suggestions, so I just booked my Thanksgiving flight to Vegas Nov 23 - 28 ($208 RT) and got my basketball ticket to the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational at Orleans Arena Nov 23 & 24 - I think I'm going to try a new hotel, Downtown Grand Las Vegas, about 1 block off Fremont. Looks like a real nice hotel for about $10/night less than the Golden Nugget.
I'll fly in on Thursday just in time to hit the first tournament game at 11:30am.
