Coaches cannot contact recruits from Dec 15 thru Jan 14... interesting that Shackelford is visiting Texas on Jan 15... I guess the arrangements were made before Dec 15.
Or maybe a recruit can call a coach, but a coach cannot call him ?
Dead Period — Coaches are not permitted to make in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations on or off-campus or to permit official or unofficial visits by recruits or to make phone calls to recruits.
Anyway... hopefully K-State will pick up some good commits between the 14th and February 1st.

I'm guessing Shackelford will flip 2 weeks before signing day... nice.
Kids decommitting is frustrating.... it is what it is (more common than ever), but I believe it's BS when a kid flips in the final 2 weeks before signing day.
Lastly it is interesting that Texas only has 13 known recruits right now... in the past, Texas would be all but done by November and would already have 5 or 6 commits for the next year.
