Do we win 6 games? Should definitely win 5 games but have to win at least one between @ Texas, @ Tech, or WVU to get that 6th game.
The schedule is flipped with most of the hard games at home. Only gimme games are South Dakota and @ KU. Going to a bowl game is not a guarantee this season (Since round-robin schedule has been that when we are good enough to win the Big 12, all of our hard games are on the road but when we are weaker, most of the winable games are on the road)
In order to win 6 games we will need to win 4 of the following 6 games:
La Tech; went 9-5 in 2014 but should be a win at home
@ UTSA; Should be easy win but first game on the road
@ Texas; Texas still will have QB issues and defense won't be as good but toss-up in Austin.
@ Texas Tech; toss-up in Lubbock
Iowa State; should be a win
WVU; toss-up game but should win in Manhattan
Almost guaranteed losses this year
@ OSU young team got better toward end of year and they have JW Walsh back from injury.
TCU - everyone is back
OU - always good
BU - Can they replace Petty; just plug and play?
I am hoping we for Texas Bowl in Houston but we could end up in Liberty bowl in Memphis or Cactus bowl in Tuscon if we only have 6 wins.
1st TCU - Cotton or Orange in CFP semi-final
2nd - Sugar
3rd - if in top 10 in Fiesta or Peach or in Alamo
4th - Alamo or Russell Athletic
5th - Russell Athletic or Texas
6th - Texas or Liberty
7th - Liberty or Cactus
8th - Cactus or Armed Forces
9th - Armed Forces
