Posted a sticky thread on the top with some ideas of things that are good to do (and not as good to do) in this message board setting. Saw somebody suggest it in a thread today, and it sure seemed like a good idea.

It's a really long post and says lots of really specific stuff. It's not super exciting, or a lot of fun to read.

If I could shorten it down a lot, I'd essentially say this:
-Everybody has a right to an opinion, even if it's not popular
-Being thick skinned and having a sense of humor is pretty cool
-At the end of the day, it is a message board about sports, not life
-Don't be mean to people, at least all the time. You know when you're being mean to somebody
-If you know something is going to make you mad, maybe don't choose to read it?
-Don't pick fights, especially with somebody who isn't fighting back
-Don't fight back, and then complain about the person you're fighting with
-It's okay to be pessimistic. It's okay to be optimistic. It's okay to disagree
-It's not okay to criticize Philip Rivers, he's a good dude. Really, he is

We aren't going to make everybody happy. People are going to be mad at us sometimes. We're going to give people more rope than some here would like, and we're going to delete a post sometimes (or even make a ban) that some won't agree with. We aren't going to try and shape this message board to think like us - and we are going to err on the side of letting people be themselves. We are going to do our best, however, and will always be willing to listen to your thoughts or feedback.
