This gets covered here from time to time but it's time for me to upgrade from my first smoker. When it comes to grilling I go propane for convenience- start it and you're grilling in 15 minutes.
For smoking I've tried to stay more traditional with charcoal but having to spend the whole day tending to the fire and working to maintain temp gets real tedious.
Does anyone have any experience with electric or propane smokers versus charcoal? Do you still get the same flavor?
