They've been trying to get him on campus since the summer
Its gone on so long that many of us assumed the two sides must have drifted apart
Have we been waiting for a spot to open?
Has he been waiting for a better offer or is he just the busiest high school senior in the state of TX?
Has it REALLY been the case that it's taken nearly a half a year to find a date for a visit?
In spite of seemingly good/great measurables (@The Manhatter cited a solid 200M time and his speed stands out in the return game), solid senior film, he has but 2 other P5 offers (Baylor and KU per his profile)
His HUDL highlights show a rangy athlete with length, speed, ball skills and tough tackling.
In summary: While the whole thing seem confusing and strange, I want this kid and I hope it comes to fruition next weekend.
