-Mike McCoy: Good little running back. Fits with what Bill likes with KS kids. Will depend on how quickly he picks up playbook.
-Ian Rudzick: Late addition....gray shirt. Bill says he can pick either FB or LB. That's why he chose grayshirt over full KU offer. Very good throwback football player.
-Skylar Thompson - In small recruiting class because of not many to offer, clearly the top player in class. Potential for quick impact. Already on campus. Told Fitz he'd like to redshirt. Really fits K-State's offense. Can run, throw....throwing technique excellent. Can throw very accurate on run.
-Any late additions? Not that we know of. Might just hand on to the few remaining scholarships that they have.
-Mathews (Juco OL): Great late addition. Have a lot of young players they like, but got a couple good juco OL. But, with juco lineman, they are either good from day one or turn out to be a project.
-No doubt Bill's age is being used in recruiting (duh...but Nate brought it up). Fortunately, K-State didn't have to sign a huge class. They didn't have 25 to give....more like 17.
-Each season that passes, it affects recruiting more.
-Big time programs came in this year for a number of kids. Was age why KSU didn't land? Each kid different. Xavier's dad got involved after he committed to K-state, for example. Some didn't have any interest in K-State. Some kids just want to leave state.
-Does K-State need succession plan? Absolutely. If he's thinking about retirement, it's probably time. He's turned more and more over to Sean, but Sean probably won't be the guy so that's created a very odd environment at K-State.
-Update on Stokes? Can't see him playing tonight. Why would you. Absolutely have to have him down stretch where there are winnable games.
