Went to the game Saturday. Was very optimistic to see a different outcome. Had a conversation with some Tech fans sitting around us. Very interesting. We talked about our current coaches and past coaches. Their thoughts were amazing and hit home with me big time.
Their thoughts went back to Sonny Dykes on to Leach and now to their current coach. The guys were in their 50's I would say. They loved Sonny and appreciated him. Thought Leach was innovative and had fun teams to watch he had issues. They have not fully embraced Kingsberry, something about him doesn't seem sincere to them admitted it may be an age thing they don't get.
Their bottom line was they wished they had Snyder because of his intrinsic values, what he teaches besides football, and most of all he has never embarassed KSU and happens to be a HOF coach. Almost every coach has had something but not Snyder.
Just interesting to hear and have them offer up this conversation. I shared some thoughts there is tension within the fan ranks and they thought that was flat crazy.
