Malik Benson was a K-State target last season before committing to Florida State, where he finished with 311 yards and 1 TD for a struggling Seminoles team. Originally from Lansing (Kans.), Benson committed to Alabama after spending time with Hutchinson CC. Last season was supposed to be his last season, but the recent JUCO eligibility ruling allowed him an extra season.
