@L8NITKAT asked about the status of our foster.

Here is a bio that we published on Facebook:

This beautiful little German Shepherd girl is a sweetheart. In fact as her foster we just call her “Sweetie”. She is gentle and affectionate, and plays nicely with our male GSD. She has been introduced to other dogs and is neutral. Although she does not like a new dog running up to her too quickly, but settles in nicely once they are properly introduced. She has also been introduced to a cat with no negative reaction. Her demeanor is very calm and she enjoys nuzzling up to you or putting her head on your lap so you can give her all your affection. Sweetie was a young mother with one of her litter surrendered to Austin Animal Shelter, so she is recouping a bit from that and her spaying, but is doing remarkably well. She comes when called by “come” or whistling and is learning sit and lie down, which she’ll master in no time with a little effort. Plus she leads very well on leash with a training collar and only requires a little tug if she starts to pull. Walks nicely with our other dog as well. She has not demonstrated any signs of abuse, fear or being skittish. We believe she will be happy in a house with another dog, but would be just as happy to have you all to herself.
