started going back and reading anything I could find on some of these signees. Owens was one I didn't know much about until right before signing day. I read a scouting report on him which stated he is athletic enough to play corner but hits like a LB. The word in Oklahoma was that he was not considered a P5 prospect until the spring of his Jr year and he just kept getting better and better. He climbed up the list of prospects in Oklahoma quite a bit the last yr. I also noticed he was a 6A state 200 meter finalist as a Junior. I can't find evidence that he is competing this Spring as a Senior.
