What is the fix here with lake Mead? Currently in the middle of 20+ consecutive years of drought.
I think the fix is desalination. I realize that expense is the reason given for other alternatives, but I say when you try to build huge living areas in the desert, you should probably pay a premium for water for living where people weren't mean to live.
Running an aqueduct from the Mississippi was an interesting idea though to say the least.
