Just want to provide a little perspective for the small crowd on here that wants to regurgitate the standard line from the press corp. If you are a national/regional crew that pulls the short straw of covering a TV broadcast of the Kansas Jayhawk Football program, you have to prepare a lot of "fill" time and say some nice things about a turd. Every week the announcers paint this picture of "improvement", passion, work ethic, and a lot of empty roo-rah from Coach Beaty. Those TV personalities have to find something to say, it's their dang job. Local beat writers are also going to try and find a positive spin in any way they can. KU has "improved" from last year, but that improvement is marginal and I think Turner Gill's squads would crush David Beaty and his pile of crap. Also, Clint Bowen is the gift that keeps on giving, I hope he stays in Lawrence for ever!
