to knock off ku in Larryville on Saturday?
Something that gives me a little hope = common opponents.
ku lost at HOME by 10 to Arizona State
K-State lost at a NEUTRAL site by 2 to Arizona State (had two chances to tie or win at game’s end).
ku lost at HOME by 12 to TT
K-State lost on the ROAD by 16 to TT
ku struggled at HOME to beat Iowa State by 5
K-State won on the ROAD to beat Iowa State by 16
I would feel a lot better about K-State’s chances if K-State had a big man other than Wade that could contribute. Of course Wade needs to be more productive than he was last night.
The Up & Down Wade show = lets hope Saturday is UP.
One cannot expect Barry to have a repeat performance like he had against Okie State… others have to step up on Saturday. Wainright or Patrick need to contribute more (Patrick needs to learn how to play a little bit of defense).
For the most part, Cartier Diarra was impressive in his first career start. Hard to take away too much from one game, but Cartier looked very promising. I was impressed with his defense as well. It's a positive that Cartier got his first career start under his belt before traveling east.
The X-Factor, Sneed, will need to knock down some shots and continue his effort on the boards.
Mawien actually looked a “little” better last night (I said a little), but I still want to see him man up and start playing with some confidence (someone needs to start a barn fire under his arse).
Stockard hardly played last night in favor of Sallah. Love has a LONG ways to go.
A lot of “IF” and “Buts”
Given ku is as weak as they have been in a long time, I give the CATS a 35% chance of victory on Saturday. If the game was in Manhattan, I would call it a toss-up.
GO STATE !!
