Losing to OU was expected but not the blow-out loss, however this season is going just as most expected. Win first 3 with a close game against La Tech. Lose to Oklahoma State and TCU, but hanging close to them was much better than I expected. We might not win at Texas and winning against Baylor will be near impossible. We MUST beat Iowa State and KU and then pick up one upset win against either Texas, Tech, or WVU and get to 6-6 and bowl game and it is what most expected for this rebuilding season. A lot of people were saying they would not be surprised if the season ended up 5-7, and that is before knowing that Ertz got injured in first play of game.
The season is playing out just as expected. The fact that we played OSU and TCU close just got people overly excited about how good the team is.
2016 we will be better (if we pick up some good Juco linemen to replace the seniors) and 2017 will be our championship year, if Bill Snyder is still coaching.
