I think this should be the year. I will always love and respect HCBS, but just because he built it doesn't mean we should let him leave it like he found it.
I think he should make the announcement a week prior to the last game to give some time for those who want to be at his last game to make arrangements.
I would hope that he and the AD have previously made an agreement on this, and that behind closed doors the AD has already been making calls, and has the next man up ready to sign on day one that the job is open. The new guys has his work cut out for him in the need to get on the recruiting trail immediately. This team is as thin as a runway model, and we need to stock up all over the field (if you don't agree, tell me you don't think our NFL draft streak is in danger).
