Am I the only one who was completely unimpressed by him? I appreciate his efforts tonight and thought he did an admirable job of filling in for Ertz, but if he is the guy moving forward, this is going to be painful. The stats don't look terrible, but I thought he was very underwhelming. Couple dropped passes that weren't his fault (one on a perfect throw to Cook), but there were several throws that he was way off on...threw over the wrong shoulder on a should-be touchdown, under threw Burton on that td, threw right to a defender before Heath bailed him out (int against anyone other than SD). Overthrew wide open receivers a few times. Only 50% completion percentage. Plus he had serious ball security issues, fumbling a couple times. And was hesitant when running the ball.

And maybe the thing that stuck out the most to me...he was just so boring. Man, that was the least entertaining football I've seen in a long time. He's a solid backup, but I don't think he should be the starter for a big 12 team.

I'll probably get blasted for saying that and I guess that's alright...I just don't understand what everybody else saw from him tonight that was so great. Again, I appreciate his efforts and contributions, but I hope he's not our starter the rest of the way.
