I saw it proposed in a different thread (think it was @Panjandrum?) that people aren't really wanting Bill to step away, really, but that they just want a sense of what the future holds and would love to see some freshness the coordinator positions. I tend to think this is the case, too, but would love to gauge the board here.
Now, I understand the argument some make that it would be hard to attract a top-flight coordinator in the current scenario with Snyder at K-State. I tend to think money and a promotion can make a lot of people do things they maybe didn't think they'd do before they are offered. But, for the sake of argument, let's just say that's accurate. And, let's just speculate that the choices to take over at OC and DC were Andre Coleman and Blake Seiler.
IF that were the case (and, this really could not be more hypothetical,) how would it impact your thoughts on things?
