Grew up in KC, was 11 when the Chiefs moved to KC.
the Chiefs were great then, I was as big a fan as a kid could be
Bobby Bell, Otis Taylor, great stuff.
went to college, grad school, lived in Chicago and Michigan, continued as a pretty staunch fan.
moved to Denver in 1980, wore my Chiefs gear to Broncos games. Lol
when LCBS came to Manhattan, my college football interest quickly eclipsed my NFL interest.
my family grew up out here, all huge Broncos fans, etc. I’d sort of support the Broncos for their sake.
I’ve watched the Chiefs with Mahones, enjoyed it but not a fanatic.
this is a long prelude to saying that last nights game was totally off the charts.
