I have to ask the question...

Is there a clause in the contract that requires he is mentally and physically capable for the job, and can KSU ask him to get evaluated by a mental health professional to assess his well being?

My question is twofold.

1) It would objectively settle the discussion about what's going on right now, and it can put this to rest.
2) If he fails, what options does the university have to do something about it?

I can see if he gets a diagnosis for early onset dementia, we could go to Sharon and say that this goes one of two ways. First, he can resign, gracefully, and say that he has given everything to the university, but he can no longer handle his duties as head coach. Or the university can forcibly remove him and will have every right to do so because they have medical proof he is unfit for the position.

I'm no lawyer, but I think this is something we need to start talking about, especially after today. This man cannot be our football coach after this season. Hell, after Thanks giving. We need to do something within the next 60 days.
