Because of a prior post on here this week I went to watch Emily Ryan from Central Plains Claflin today. She's a 5-9 freshman point. Never seen her but I've seen several other former KSU women play in high school in 2a tourney. Watched Laurie Koehn for four years and also Shalee Lehning play in the state tourney. Emily has a freshman body, thin, but is a great play maker. She had 18 of their 20 points in first qrtr. Finished with 26 in a 60-30 win. She is a great passer and finishes very strong at the basket. Outside shots weren't great today. She could have scored 40 easy but sat a lot and passed off a lot. They have a serious shot of four straight titles with her. It's quite interesting when you see a freshman dominate a state tourney game and be the lock down player for their team. I read tonight we've offered 6-6 soph Kennedy Brown from Wichita. She has offers from KSU, KU, WSU, OSU, Louisville. Hope They're both Wildcats
