In 1988 a new High School coach started at Webb City. He started a run that is still going strong. He won #1 state championship in Class 4 in an ice storm in Springfield. As of today WC is ranked in the top 20 in the nation by some high school polls and just beat Rockhurst soundly. They are working towards #14 state championships (6th in a row.) I doubt if it is ever possible but he would be a Bill Snyder (#2). Check out the story
