I know it appears we’re pretty solid at receiver but I just think Garber is special. Lockett got on the field as a true freshman when we had pretty good receivers already.
I don’t think he will play Corner but he could in a pinch.
I was watching the Sam Shields hudl video and there is a play vs Free State about 1:30 into the video where the Manhattan runner breaks free. Garber just explodes to run him down near the endzone and it took very little time (roughly 20-25 yards) but it was instant. The kid is highly skilled and very dynamic. I just think it will be difficult not to get him on the field.
