I'm sure this has been touched on, so sorry for repeating, but Frank Martin wanted to get to the East Coast anyways. Doesn't he have a son that is down in Florida or something? Does it hurt to see Martin getting to a Final Four, sure it does. But that's no guarantee that he would have done it anyways at KSU. He was begging for the Miami job. It probably didn't help with Currie busting his chops, but Martin wouldn't be here right now regardless.
Now on to Altman. He coached at KSU like 25 years ago. And to be honest, he didn't do a good job while he was here. Has he matured and turned into a good coach? Yes, he has. But look where he is at......Oregon has resources and money and a reputation that KSU can't compete with....
