+12 on the boards in the same game. Think about that for a minute. I suppose it's possible but if it has taken place it may be once in near or approx 1,000 games or so that he has coached.
I know people said WVa should have hit more FTs, true. And they should not have turned the ball over on a few of those occasions, true. But they didn't have to be perfect. KU was FAR from perfect in that game. I just find it hard to believe that when KU has their top scorer out and literally no interior presence to speak of...that they won a game where they were dominated in those areas.
BTW, Huggs has won a ton of games where his team hit 58% or below in FTs for a game. That is what they did the other night.
