This is being confirmed by posters with A sources and posters who have posted credible information in the past.

If it is true and if Bill does not retire after this season, I find it unlikely that we will quietly go from this season to the next without any changes whatsoever.

Sean is the key here. Its all about what Sean wants, and putting Sean in the best light possible. If Bill is bent on Sean having a shot at taking over, I could see Bill staying on at least for another season and even though it hasn't been Bill's M.O. to fire staff, it would not be out of the question for Bill to stick up for Sean, make ADGT be the bad guy and put the blame of this season on Dimel in his after-season sit-down with Taylor. If things are as bad as reported, and Bill wants to right the ship in a hurry and at least heal some of the locker room divisions, there is a solution for that. Most of the complaints center around Dimel and the offense. How predictable they are. How they have mismanaged their QB's. How they can't find ways to get the WR's more involved. How they under utilize the talent at RB. The inconsistency of the OL, etc.

Now, I don't see them going and hiring a new OC from outside. It would probably be a staff promotion from within. But IF Bill doesn't retire and IF some changes do not occur with the staff, I personally, would be surprised.

I don't prefer any scenario with Bill being the HC beyond this season, but I am trying to prepare myself for disappoint and thinking about what interesting scenarios could arise in the offseason.
