Had a meeting yesterday in San Francisco Bay area with a guy who is good friends with Jarrod Cooper who lives out there, they went to high school together.
Anyways we were talking injuries and when I got hurt in college ball. He brought up his friend Jarrod who was in another lawsuit (2nd after winning the first) with the raiders since they wouldn't pay his medical bills stemming from concussions and TBI. he said Cooper has to go check into hotels just to sleep sometimes due to noise and migraine he can get at home from light or noises. He has had a bad few years with seizures and loss of vision at times.
I wasn't connecting the dots until he said it started when he played football on the Midwest then drafted by the Saints.. I said wait you mean Jarrod Cooper? Played at Kansas State? He said yup that's him.
Anyways I'm sure it's been brought up before but Jarrod has been having one hell of a life after football medically he is having a lot of issues and millions in medical bills that he is trying to get the NFL/Raiders to cover.
Good news is he and his foundation for animals is going really well. He does a lot of work with Oakland PD to remove animals to get them help.
Hope he has a quick recovery.
