As already posted in a couple of threads, the Rivals150 and Kansas City area native forward is set to announce his college decision via Twitter at 5 p.m. He will decide between K-State, Nebraska, DePaul, Pepperdine and Wichita State.
I texted with Horne a little bit Wednesday night just to try to get a feel for it. Of course I don't know where he is going, for he wants it to be a surprise, but he had a good head on his shoulders about it all.
I'll be honest, K-State is likely the frontrunner because they've done the best job throughout his recruitment. They've kept a close relationship, brought him on campus a handful of times, and continuously watched games of his all summer. However, with that said, doing the best job doesn't always mean that Weber and Co. will land him. Horne enjoyed every visit he took, including K-State, so it will be interesting to see.
I wish I had more substance to provide, but that's really all at the moment. I really believe K-State has a legit shot this afternoon, but I wouldn't be surprised of it being either Nebraska or DePaul for some strange reason.
