-Overall, pretty blah. Probably didn't move forward any. But, you could tell in post-game, that the Friday game has been the focus (apparently they won 23 games last year and have made tourney 5 straight years, IIRC?).

-I do believe that Stokes' ball-handling is better. He's stronger with the ball, too. But, darn it, just too many unforced/lazy passes & turnovers. And, didn't like his body language after some of them.

-Brown started slow, too. Him and Stokes started game with too much dribble and bad possessions. Weber promptly pulled them out and chewed them pretty good. I liked way Bruce handled them. They both pouted a little, but at least they know that Cartier and Wainright are not far behind.

-Brown and Sneed, defensively, continue to put up very strong performances.

-The two transfer bigs are coming. Sallah active and more comfortable. Between the two, I do like what they will bring. Side note: loved listening to Sallah on postgame. What a humble, bright, team oriented guy. After meeting him, Bruce told staff we have to have this guy for the locker room.

-The quick, smaller guys gave Wade some trouble.....but he settled in and put up workmanlike numbers.

-Have I told you lately how much I love Sneed?

-Patrick looked better, more comfortable. Got in foul trouble, but I thought a couple of them called weren't his. He can't get his shot to fall, but effort has still been there. Good sign, b/c we all know he's in there to shoot.

-It's interesting to see how Bruce handles Stockard and Shadd. It's obvious that the first one off the bench is who has better week of practice. It's so nice for Bruce to have that luxury. I still like them both. (I could see up moving away from Love? Especially if nobody leaves and Bruce has to make the hard decision).

-Stockard is just intriguing. I do think he looks a little disinterested out there at times, but he's pretty productive. Here's the interesting part....on post game, Bruce said that Levi is probably, basketball wise, the smartest guy on the team. He already knows the schemes (offensively and defensively) as well as anyone. At practice, he's actually lining up some of the older guys.

I find this interesting, too, b/c our new PG is from same system. This, and from what I've been hearing, makes me hope that Williams at PG might just be what Bruce (or next coach :)) has been looking for.
