from a week in Seattle. last Sunday I saw Kershaw stymie the M`s. He is magnificent. On another note I was really impressed by the dodger position players. they beat the M`s 12-1 with only 1 hr. and that was in the 9th inning. Every Ball Machado hit was a bullet. We need several young players like that. the Dodgers stole every base except the pitcher`s jock. He couldn`t hold anyone on!
Tried to go to Monday`s Astro-M`s game, but the smoke at the ball park, from the Canada forest fire made me leave in the first inning. Ozone level was over 180 and I could hardly breathe! Fortunately it rained last night and today was beautiful. My son, who lives there told me it usually clears out after 2 days. this time it lasted for over a week. Nice to be back in Phoenix, even at 100 degrees, driving here is child`s play compared with Seattle!
