The leadership is really confusing. There are so many good things going on, as far as academics, research, etc it would seem that Kirk Schulz is doing some amazing things. He has set a high ceiling with his initiatives and goals and K-State is marching forward and improving it would seem despite the unfriendly climate of Kansas government. But Pres. Schulz interactions on social media often are not befitting of a major University President and from the outside looking in he can come across incredibly amateurish.
Currie has done some amazing things with facilities, but that mostly has come from big time donors and at this point, I can't imagine those people forking over those big bucks for competitive, high class facilities are happy with the direction of either sports program today. I won't pretend to be tuned into the really high-end donor class at K-State. But honestly, Currie has to feel the heat at this point doesn't he?
