Purdue is ranked 76th and is still a 10 point favorite over that sorry team Kansas State! On the Purdue board they are asking for the firing of coach Painter because they lost to such POOR teams as Kansas State, Florida State and Gardner-Webb. However, it is only a freshman team and the guards are not there. They are not defending the three. Gardner Webb hit 14 out of 23 threes. That's 42 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they only won by 5 and were lucky to do that. So I think they will be fine and will improve a lot!
