If we can have a lengthy thread about men's cross-country finishing 4th in the Big 12, then I believe we can recognize the women's golf team for winning a 13-team tournament in Texas today that included 8 teams ranked in the top 45. We also had a freshman, Reid Isaac, win the tournament individual championship with the only under par score and 3 of our 4 team scores came from freshman. This is a program that hasn't done very well historically but with the new infusion of talent has had an excellent fall season. 14 of the top 100 individuals were also part of this tournament. Connie Jaffrey, the only non-freshman, finished 8th out of 69, and has won a couple of other meets this fall.
